Maggie Braun’s latest Substack post is titled “Full-Spectrum Resistance – The real work is Multi-Front”.
The supposed purpose of Braun’s post, stated in the 2nd sentence, is to bring attention to “something that needs to be called out: too many people spending their energy tearing down other people’s efforts instead of just doing their own.”
She is vague and general, intentionally leaving it to our imagination as to who exactly all these people are and what exactly they are saying. This is our first clue Braun is not being forthright.
The BIG LIE
We are in a global war.
Braun is peddling “The BIG LIE” that everyone gets to do what they want, when they want, how they want, where they want and even if they want…and somehow this disorganized, undisciplined, out-gunned, out-classed, out-resourced and chaotic mob is somehow going to pull off a miracle and win this global war.
Braun is not first to peddle the BIG LIE. But her post popped into my mail box yesterday and I figured now is a good time as any to give a specific example of someone who peddles this lie.
Deception #1
Braun wrote:
- “This is a cultural, legal, political, and economic battle.”
- ”It’s not going to be solved with one tactic, one leader, or one message.”
- “It’s going to take thousands of people showing up in the ways they’re best equipped—and trusting others to do the same.”
The 1st sentence seems reasonable enough right? Wrong! The 1st sentence is a gross understatement. What we face is a real existential crisis, a life and death reality where the probability of us winning this global war is close to zero. And if we lose, as seems almost likely, then we face a bleak depopulation future where most of us will be killed and the remaining few of us will be techno-slaves in a One World Government operating under the depraved and evil ideology of Technocracy and Transhumanism.
The 3rd sentence is mostly wrong. The reality is we need tens of millions of people in Canada, billions across the world. But hey, who is Braun to quibble about the difference between a few thousand and a few billion? As for “trust“, we can “hope” but not “trust“. After all, we’re talking about uniting billions of people, not the few Braun has.
And what does Braun mean by “showing up”?
The reality is our billions must be organized and mobilized to work as one, with a common vision and direction. That can NEVER be accomplished just by people “showing up”. And no Maggie, organizing and mobilizing billions does not mean everyone does the same thing all the time.
The real deception and deceit is in the 2nd sentence. Who exactly is it Braun claims has said our problems can “be solved with one tactic, one leader, or one message”?
The answer is no one. Braun is making this up. This is a straw-man argument.
As an example, let’s use what I say:
- We little people are fighting in a global war.
- The ONLY way we can win this war is to eliminate the Cabal and it’s global network.
- The ONLY way we can eliminate the Cabal is if we unite ourselves across the world, to fight as one with a common vision and direction.
Nowhere in my message do I say, or even remotely imply, our fight in this global war is “going to be solved with one tactic, one leader, or one message”. If we unite then we will need many tactics, many leaders and many messages.
Deception #2
Braun states in the 3rd paragraph:
“Here’s the truth: not everyone is called to the same role. Not everyone is equipped to fight on the same front. That’s not a weakness—it’s the strength of a real grassroots movement”.
This is also a straw-man argument.
Who is it Braun claims is saying, “Everyone must be called to the same role. Everyone must be equipped to fight on the same front”?
The answer is no one. Braun is making this up.
Deception #3
Braun states:
“The idea that there’s one “correct” strategy is naive—and more often than not, it’s a distraction. This movement is about protecting sovereignty, truth, autonomy, and moral courage. That takes all of us, pulling in the same direction, even if we don’t always work together directly.”
This is another straw-man argument.
Who is Braun talking about? Who are all these people that are saying there’s only “one ‘correct’ strategy”.
The answer is no one. She is making this up too.
The part about “protecting sovereignty, truth … work together directly” is Braun’s distraction to mask and hide her straw-man argument.
My message is unity, we must unite. Unity must be our primary strategy, but it will not be our only strategy. Without unity, we cannot win this global war. Braun knows this is true. To implicitly argue otherwise as Braun seems to be doing, is not naive, it’s deceitful and deceptive.
The fundamentals
Braun wrote:
“Because that’s how we win: not by all doing the same thing, but by standing firm in our own role while supporting the work of others. That’s how we build the culture of courage we need. That’s how we win.”
So Braun wants to win, eh?
Great!
But…win what? Braun doesn’t tell us what we win because she doesn’t know what it really means to win and what winning really looks like?
Here are a few questions I expect and demand Braun to openly and publicly answer:
- Who is the enemy we must defeat to win this war?
- What is our primary objective in this war?
- What is our primary strategy to win this war?
- What type of leadership do we need to win this war?
- What resources do we need to win this war?
I have not spent any significant time looking into the details of what Braun does. But I do know she has no numbers, no resources, no reach and no muscle. She works alone. Yes, she has a small number of people that she works with. But on a relative scale for what we MUST have (i.e. tens of millions in Canada), Braun effectively works alone.
I’m reasonably certain Braun has no answers for my 5 questions. None of our toothless chihuahuas even ask them. And yes, I’m saying Braun is a toothless chihuahua.
These questions are about the fundamentals of what we must do to fight and win this war. How can Braun make a meaningful contribution to our fight if she ignores these fundamentals? The answer is, she can’t and isn’t trying to.
Donations for personal use?
The February 28 newsletter from KICLEI stated it had raised about $15,000 in donations. The April 17 newsletter stated it had “440 paid supporters” and it’s goal was to increase this to 1,000 paid supporters by November 1, 2025. KICLEI is asking members to contribute $10 each month or $80 each year. Assuming the average donation is $80 each year then the total amount donated by 440 members would be $35,200. That would increase to $80,000 each year if the goal of 1,000 paid supporters is reached.
If 100% of donations are NOT used for Braun’s own personal use then this provides us with some assurance that Braun’s motivations in fighting this global war are altruistic.
On the other hand, it would be a serious conflict of interest for donations to be allocated for Braun’s own personal use (e.g. home rent/mortgage, utilities, food, etc.), especially if Braun has a final say in how the donations are allocated.
If Braun uses donations for her own personal use then that provides a very plausible explanation of why Braun peddles The BIG LIE.
The why of the BIG LIE?
What would prompt Braun to write this Substack post?
If there was any merit to Braun’s claim (i.e. “too many people spending their energy tearing down other people’s efforts“), with the qualifier this is maliciously being done without valid criticism, then it would tremendously benefit all of us to have a clear understanding of who these problem people are, what they are saying and how we protect ourselves against them.
But Braun doesn’t do that. Instead, she’s intentionally vague and general, leaving it to our imagination to fill in all the blanks.
But let’s be generous and assume there might be others like myself who are highly critical, and rightfully so, of what our toothless chihuahuas are doing. Braun certainly knows about me and yet has failed to even mention my name in this post, let alone discuss whether or not my talking points have any merit. And the question is why? The answer is that Braun does not want to open that can of worms because she know it will most likely reflect poorly on her, something she can’t afford to have happen.
For example, my message of unity poses a direct and real threat to Braun’s donations. If we unite across Canada, if we build a nation wide organization that gives leadership and meaningful action to our fight, then most donations will be redirected to our organization. Such an organization doesn’t mean Braun would have to give up what she is doing at KICLEI and Gather 2030. But it would probably mean her donations would dry up. And that is something Braun doesn’t want and can’t afford.
I suspect Braun’s support for “The BIG LIE” is a defensive reaction that tries to defuse and deflect legitimate criticisms of what she does. Accordingly, Braun is protecting her petty turf war (i.e. KICLEI, Gather2030), ego and echo chamber using the (false) pretense of strengthening the “freedom movement” in Canada.
